12 Ways to Defeat the Devil // Joyce Meyer

You are a person with authority and power if you are a child of God. It is God Himself who has given you this power through His covenant with you.

You are the head and not the tail… above and not beneath  (Deuteronomy 28:13)

We are empowered to walk in this daily from our union with God.

How do we stay strong? By spending time with Him and  His Word consistently.

Psalm 91:1 says that when we dwell in the secret place of the most high (beautiful time with God), no demonic foe will have power over us! No foe can withstand you when you are continually empowered in this way.

You will be stable and fixed in your heart and mind.

And people will sense that there is something different about us too.

Questions to ponder.

1. How has time with God helped you stay strong?

2. When you have failed in resisting the devil, how have you gotten back on track?

3. How have you found victory?

4. Words of encouragement for others.

Lord, today I seek you above all others.

Today I choose to sit at your feet to be taught of you.

May your Life and Presence be seen in me and may lives be changed for the Kingdom because of it.

Psalm 25:1  To You, O LORD, I will lift up my soul; in you I trust, O My God.
