Experience Purpose & shine !!
Many people are excited when they first find out that God has an amazing plan for their lives. They are raring to go. Ready to conquer anything.
But an interesting thing begins to happen after a little while. The excitement begins to wear off as the trials of everyday life start to creep in.
We begin to wonder…is this really for me? Is this really all it promised that it would be?
And then we may begin to think that perhaps the plan God has will be too hard. Or maybe it will require more of us than we really are willing to pay. Perhaps God will ask us to do something that we would hate doing. And we begin to slow down our momentum and perhaps even stop reaching forward completely.
But you see, in reality, these discouraging thoughts are the tactics of the enemy to keep you from stepping into that amazing place that God has for you.
How do I know that? Well let’s look at scripture and see what it says.
Proverbs 4:18 Says
The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
Now that is a good path if I ever saw one… It is a shining path. Not a dull and boring one! God gives good and wonderful gifts.
Let’s look further… at Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
God wants to give you the desires of your heart… and He can because He is the most powerful being around. How’s that for a grand and glorious future? I love it!
So quit believing those disgusting lies of the devil. Remember who he is and what he tries to do everyday of your life.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
It’s that old rascal, that defeated foe, the devil that’s trying to ruin your life, not God. It is the enemy that wants to give you a boring life without purpose or meaning… not God.
God’s desire is to give you a life that is full to overflowing with good things. Our job? To let Him do that.
Whatever He is laying on your heart to do, step out. It will be fabulous. And you will be forever thankful that you did!
